SUMMARY:September 14 Audition
DESCRIPTION:Membership in the Young Artists Philharmonic provides the serious young music student with a challenging and rewarding orchestral experience. It is important to remember that our auditions should not be thought of as a daunting or stressful occasion. We like to think of it as an evaluation rather than an audition\, and look forward to meeting all interested students in a welcoming setting. \nApplicants should prepare: \n\nOne scale of the applicant’s choice\, in as many octaves as possible\nOne solo piece of the applicant’s choice\n\nApplicants should also expect to do some sight-reading during the audition.
