Where do musical pitches come from? What makes something sound in-tune? Why do instruments sound different from one another? Believe it or not, physics can answer these questions — and it’s always in the background during any musical activity. Come to the Greenwich Arts Council on Thursday, October 17th at 5pm for a special event on The Physics of Music hosted by the Young Artists Philharmonic. We’ll be joined by GHS physics teacher Sarah Zeegan for a presentation that reveals a hidden side of the musical world.

RSVP to Jeff Spector jeff.spector@youngartistsphil.org

$10 Fee at the door, for non-YAP/ non-GAC members.
